Semi-Skilled operators will produce parts in tolerance at the rate required by each operation.Performs all assigned duties not limited to running mill flat machine, air testing parts produced, running band press machine, working soldering operation, running turn brass machine, loading and unloading bonderizer, painting inside diameters, repairingMeasures all manufactured products accurately through lifting, pulling, pushing followed by applying proper technique to hand measuring tools, template gages, flush pin gages and other product related measuring equipmentWorks with and follows Basic Rules of Manufacturing, General Dynamics OTS Environmental Policy, ISO Documentation, Quality Policy and other work related policies, especially safety protocolsAbility to be able to work whatever shift is assigned to you based on seniorityHigh School DiplomaCandidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skillsCandidate must be able to complete basic math functions and be detail orientedmust be able to stand for 8 hours during work shift and wear PPE equipmentMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and security background check for federal installationIndustrial manufacturing experience is preferred***Scranton Army Ammunition Plant is a government contracted facility, all potential employees must be able to pass Federal background requirments***The above statements describe the general nature and level of work only.
