Casting Electrical Tech

Steel DynamicsWork with the Mechanical/Electrical Engineers, Millwrights, Electricians, Shift Supervisors, and Operators to drive the Casting production goals. Focus will be on safety and assisting operations as needed to ensure uptime and reliability.Maintain a safe work environment. Work with maintenance and SMS/SDI operational groups to improve equipment reliability and uptime. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance. Inspect electrical and mechanical equipment. Good communication skills with the ability to work within a team environment. Operating mobile equipment, troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC electrical systems and components, fluid power systems, mechanical power transmission systems, water systems, pneumatic systems, material handling systems, etc.Required:An excellent safety and attendance record. Previous electrical maintenance experience. Mechanical maintenance experience a plus. Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components and systems, as well as read blueprints.
