About the Role: As a CBRE Fund Accounting Controller, you will manage a team of accountants and oversee the financial management, reporting, and analysis for assigned funds. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all fund accounting processes. This job is part of the Fund Accounting job function. They are responsible for the development and day-to-day maintenance of fund accounting processes and procedures. What Youu2019ll Do: + Prepare, analyze, and review NAV calculations and financial packages for completion and accuracy. + Update and monitor daily trading, general ledger activity, and pricing of funds to ensure accuracy of NAV calculation. + Prepare financial statements; assist with audit and tax preparation and review. + Assist with reviewing P&L calculations at the fund and investor levels. + Coordinate treasury, cash management, and accounting functions, including review and approval of fund level bank account reconciliations. + Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. + Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity. + Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department. + Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline. + Serve as a liaison between accounting personnel, management, external investors, and customers. Build relationships with key stakeholders and leaders to ensure objectives are being met. + Suggest consulting opportunities based on knowledge of the department's pricing platform. Create pricing estimates for new business opportunities and ensure monthly pricing allocations are correct and services are up to date. + Coordinate internal and external property and client transitions and external audits. + Verify client fees are correct according to the rules in the Management Agreement. + Mentor and coach as needed. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans. + Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity. + Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department. What Youu2019ll Need: + Bacheloru2019s Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. + Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. + Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidateu2019s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $115,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $135,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidateu2019s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBREu2019s applicable benefit program. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidateu2019s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $115,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $135,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidateu2019s skills, qualifications, and experience.
