Job Summary and Qualifications We are currently looking for an ambitious Occupational Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis. As an Occupational Therapist on our team, you will be a skilled member of the healthcare team and provide therapeutic services to patients using initial assessments, therapeutic procedures and interventions in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the hospital and applicable law. Your duties and responsibilities may include: + Treat disabilities, injuries and disease using therapeutic techniques according to prescriptions from a physician, performs testing and evaluation procedures on patients. + Record and document patient observation, treatment and changes in condition. + Monitor, analyze and review clinical data. + Reevaluate and modify treatment plans and goals based upon patient performance. + Communicate clearly and provide explanation of care in a way that can be easily understood by patients and their families. Requirements: + Bacheloru2019s Degree in Occupational Therapy; Masteru2019s preferred + Experience in appropriate healthcare setting + Clear/active Florida Occupational Therapist license + Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification + Current FIM (Functional Independence Measure) required (within 90 days of hire) + Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills; ability to read/comprehend written instructions; ability to follow verbal instructions; PC skills Benefits HCA Florida Brandon Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
