Production Worker

Job Title: Production Worker ($18-20/hr) Job Description Join our Cabinet Division as a Production Worker, where you will play a key role in the manufacturing process by applying paint with a hand-held spray gun and assembling/disassembling product lines. Training is provided for those new to hand spraying materials. Responsibilities + Apply paint with a hand-held spray gun for cabinet parts. + Assemble and disassemble product lines. + Hand scuff and hand sand cabinet parts. + Understand and participate in modifying Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to enhance productivity and product quality. + Measure quantities of ingredients to create a stain/paint color identical to customer orders. + Follow safety procedures in handling stains, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). + Remove minor sanding defects and blend color levels to match various boards. + Bunk material per SOP. Essential Skills + Basic math skills. + Ability to use measurement devices. + Computer skills. + Ability to read work instructions. + Capability in hand sanding and scuffing. + Experience in using power tools and hand finishing equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Applicants with experience in finishing cabinets, flooring, or painting cars/car parts are preferred. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks. + Comfortable standing for 8+ hours per day and lifting up to 50 pounds. Work Environment This position requires standing for the entire shift in a spray booth environment. Employees should be prepared to work in a hot environment during the summer and a cool one in the winter, with occasional exposure to dust. The company provides safety glasses, hearing protection, and expects employees to wear jeans, t-shirts, and steel-toe boots. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Berlin, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
