Eatonu2019s GEIS division is currently seeking a 1st Shift Production Supervisor. The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What youu2019ll do: The Production Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and direction to employees. In this role you will manage the performance of safety & the environment, quality, on time delivery, and cost for the respective area. This position will be responsible for collaborating with other functional leaders and managers to optimize the entire product line to exceed the needs of the customer, by way of their commitment to continuous improvement. In this function you will: u2022 Drive, implement, promote, and maintain a safe working environment through accident prevention, equipment maintenance, while fostering our I Own Safety policies. u2022 Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee empowerment by ensuring that standard work processes are followed, countermeasures implemented towards becoming a lean organization to eliminate waste. u2022 Function as a business partner by planning, initiating, leading, measuring, monitoring, and assessing continuous improvement programs and manufacturing process improvements by applying appropriate Eaton Business System (EBS) processes and problem-solving tools such as Standard Work and 5S. u2022 Monitor control plans, troubleshoot workmanship problems, and supervise production activities to ensure manufactured products meet or exceed established quality requirements. u2022 Develop and establish manufacturing priorities based on the production schedule and monitor employee work requirements to meet customer deadlines. u2022 Monitor quality of work-in-process and ensure adherence to Eatonu2019s Quality Policy and procedures. u2022 Collaboration through cross functional responsibilities in planning and distribution to meet operational deliverables. u2022 Manage and promote a positive team environment through various strategies such as performance recognition, coaching for improvement, and development. u2022 Utilize inventory management system to measure inventory levels, diagnose order completions, and monitor earned hours. u2022 Assist in the recruitment, selection, promotion, motivating, and counseling of employees. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: u2022 High School Diploma or GED from Accredited institution. u2022 Minimum of one (1) yearsu2019 experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment OR 3 or more years of military leadership experience u2022 Flexibility for rotating weekends as needed u2022 Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
