Description We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Burlington, North Carolina. Hybrid role. In this role, you will oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll for multiple locations while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This position requires strong organizational skills, a commitment to confidentiality, and the ability to manage multi-state payroll processes effectively. Responsibilities: u2022 Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to schedules. u2022 Transmit payments and associated files to appropriate parties in accordance with established deadlines. u2022 Maintain and update payroll records, including employee details, banking information, tax information, and deductions. u2022 Administer garnishments, mandatory withholdings, and other payroll deductions in compliance with regulations. u2022 Manage time and attendance processes, including assigning schedules, training managers, resetting passwords, and overseeing badge replacements. u2022 Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, including general ledger entries and month-end financial statements. u2022 Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and taxation across all states where the company operates. u2022 Develop and deliver payroll training programs to enhance team understanding and efficiency. u2022 Oversee annual and year-end payroll processes, including W2 preparation, tax filings, and audits. u2022 Address payroll-related inquiries promptly and provide thorough support to employees and stakeholders. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll administration, including full-cycle payroll processing. u2022 Proficiency in managing multi-state payroll for organizations with varying employee counts. u2022 Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems. u2022 Strong understanding of payroll processes for companies with 101-500 employees and over 500 employees. u2022 Knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. u2022 Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. u2022 Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify opportunities for process improvements.
