Description We are looking for a skilled Corporate Tax Staff Accountant to join our team in Rutherford, New Jersey. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage and maintain corporate tax compliance processes, ensuring timely and accurate filings. u2022 Utilize accounting software systems such as BlackLine and CCH Sales Tax to streamline financial operations. u2022 Oversee accounts payable processes and ensure proper transaction documentation. u2022 Perform accrual accounting tasks to accurately reflect business expenses. u2022 Conduct audits to verify the accuracy of balance sheet accounts and other financial records. u2022 Prepare comprehensive financial reports for management review. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to optimize Concur expense reporting systems. u2022 Support the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to maintain financial integrity. u2022 Assist in implementing and improving accounting processes and controls. u2022 Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Requirements u2022 Proven experience with accounting software systems, including BlackLine and CCH Sales Tax. u2022 Strong knowledge of corporate tax operations and compliance. u2022 Proficiency in accounts payable processes and accrual accounting. u2022 Familiarity with auditing procedures and balance sheet account reconciliation. u2022 Experience with Concur expense reporting systems. u2022 Ability to analyze and interpret financial data effectively. u2022 Excellent organizational and communication skills. u2022 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
