Job Description

Job Title: Lab Technician Job Description The Quality Lab Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of various products through rigorous testing and analysis. This role involves working in a laboratory setting, collaborating with multiple teams, and maintaining high standards of quality control. Responsibilities + Collect and prepare samples from various stages of production. + Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of samples. + Conduct thorough testing of finished products before release. + Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate results. + Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot any issues. + Accurately enter and import test data into relevant systems. + Maintain organized records of test results and related information. + Generate Certificates of Conformance (CoCs) and Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) based on test results. + Review and verify the accuracy of these documents. + Perform testing and release incoming raw materials. + Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure material quality. + Keep the laboratory spaces clean, organized, and well-maintained. + Regularly calibrate and maintain lab instruments. + Organize and retain required records (both electronic and paper-based). + Ensure compliance with record-keeping regulations. + Coordinate activities with other Quality Technicians. + Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Essential Skills + Proficiency in laboratory techniques and procedures. + Experience with chemistry, biology, and quality control. + Knowledge of GMP standards and practices. + Ability to perform wet chemistry and titration. + Strong attention to detail. + Experience entering data into Excel and quality systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School Diploma required. + Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in life science preferred. + 2+ years of GMP quality, QA/QC, or lab experience required if lacking a degree. + Scientific new graduates require 2+ years of laboratory experience from education. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Porte, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
