As a PeopleReady associate you'll benefit from: + Connections and experience with some of the top companies in your area + Great benefit package options + Get matched to jobs quickly. + Competitive pay and steady schedule + The ability to see your schedule and track your hours right from our easy-to-use app, JobStack Pay Rate: _The pay rate for this job is $16 - $18 / hour_ What you'll be doing as a Driver: + Perform pre- and post- trip vehicle inspections using company logbooks + Operate vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and all local, state, and federal laws + Deliver products or equipment safely and efficiently to retail store locations + Ensure assigned equipment is functioning properly and report mechanical issues to a supervisor + Follow company safety policies and operating procedures + Participate in required safety meetings and training sessions + Maintain a clean and organized vehicles and work area + Provide professional, courteous service to customers and coworkers + Complete additional duties as assigned by managementPark and retrieve automobiles for customers in parking lots or storage garages + Use the system designated by the auction house to help customers locate their vehicles + Keep parking areas clean and orderly so space is used fully + Wash, vacuum, extract, and buff vehicles + Patrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property thefts + Inspect vehicles for damage Available shifts: Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), Weekends Job requirements: + Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady + Valid Class B CDL required, Class A preferred + Air Brakes and tanker endorsements required + Hazmat endorsement preferred + Ability to operate a manual transmission + Acceptable driving record + Ability to pass a DOT physical + High school diploma or GED preferred + Ability to lift up to 60 pounds + Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work outdoors for extended periods + Comfortable working in dusty, dirty, or muddy environments + Basic math skills + Willingness to work long hours and weekends as needed + Valid driver's license + Able to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles + Strong communication skills. + Background check and drug screening required Ready to take control of the way you work?
