Distribution Designer

Description Xcellas 360 is looking to add a jr designer to their team in support of Pepco distribution projects. BGE is another large client of theirs so exposure to both clients would be an ideal state as they could be asked to switch back and forth depending on workload. The candidate will be asked to handle the following responsibilities: Draft/Design electric distribution projects using Microstation walk down sites for pictures/ field notes coordinate job status updates with customer and client stakeholders Submit design packages to QA internally for corrections. Make redlines and learn from mistakes to continue growing skills. Collaborate with other drafters and designers to find key information, seek guidance, and work together on larger projects when needed. Skills Microstation, Distribution design, Power distribution, Electrical, Autocad, Drafting, Microstation design, Microstation inroads, customer service Top Skills Details Microstation,Distribution design,Power distribution,Electrical Additional Skills & Qualifications associates degree is a plus Pepco AND BGE experience preferred AS8 (asset suite 8) Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor Mill, MD 21244.
