Job Title: Industrial Paint Technician Job Description We are seeking an Industrial Paint Technician to support paint and surface finishing operations in a quality-driven, NADCAP-compliant aerospace manufacturing environment. This role focuses on supporting industrial paint and pretreatment processes while ensuring all work meets strict quality, safety, and compliance standards. Industrial paint experience is required, and aerospace experience is a plus. Responsibilities + Support industrial paint and paint pretreatment processes used in manufacturing. + Perform routine checks, testing, and monitoring of paint-related processes and materials. + Document results accurately in logs, travelers, or quality records. + Identify out-of-spec conditions and report issues to Quality or Supervisors. + Follow NADCAP, AS9100, and internal quality protocols while adhering to work instructions, specifications, and quality requirements. + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. + Support audits and quality initiatives as needed. Essential Skills + Hands-on industrial paint experience. + Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment. + Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy. + Ability to follow written procedures and quality requirements. + Comfortable working in a regulated, process-controlled environment. + Ability to work a consistent day shift schedule. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Aerospace manufacturing experience. + Experience working in a NADCAP or quality-regulated environment. + Familiarity with surface finishing, coatings, or paint pretreatment processes. + Prior involvement with audits or quality inspections. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
