Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description We are seeking an Order Fulfillment Coordinator for the 1st shift. This role does not involve the use of power industrial vehicles and focuses on inventory control, pulling customer orders, and shipping and receiving. Additionally, we are looking for a Logistics Coordinator who will be utilizing power industrial vehicles to manage logistics operations. Responsibilities + Order Fulfillment Coordinator: Pull customer orders, receive, off-load, and breakdown incoming shipments. + Count and reconcile incoming shipments against vendor packing slips. + Move finished goods from the Converting area to the Warehouse. + Package customer orders and distribute products to warehouse bins. + Help load/unload trucks and stage orders for shipment. + Accurately document customer orders and ship orders using UPS or FedEx shipping systems. + Restock and organize shelves, assist with inventory control, and participate in the annual inventory process. + Logistics Coordinator: Operate a reach truck, sit-down forklift, hi-lo, and cherry picker daily. + Prepare shipping documents and products for packing and shipping. + Receive incoming materials and enter them into the computer system. + Manage outgoing shipments and ensure compliance with U.S. and foreign government shipment and trade regulations. + Process inventory in the ERP system, both incoming and outgoing. + Deliver materials to work centers as required and load/unload incoming/outgoing trucks. Essential Skills + Order Fulfillment Coordinator: 1+ years of experience in a warehouse environment. + Logistics Coordinator: Experience with sit-down forklift, reach truck, cherry picker, and hi-lo. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Forklift operation, packing, picking, RF scanner, material handling. Why Work Here? Work Environment Our work environment is clean, high-tech, well-lit, and spacious, with an additional building soon to double our size. The facility features a gym above the manufacturing floor accessible to all employees, complete with a locker room area. Working hours are 1st shift from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm or 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and 3rd shift from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, with some optional overtime. Personal protective equipment such as steel or composite-toed shoes and safety glasses is required, with hearing protection in the casting area. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Avon, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
