Duties: The Phlebotomist II is responsible for collecting venous and capillary blood specimens from patients in a safe and accurate manner according to established lab policies and practices, additional is responsible for maintaining inventory, dispatch scheduling and Epic registration.Demonstrates H3W behaviors with a focus on excellent patient exceptional patience and quality/service and/outcomes. High School graduate or equivalent or successful completion of Phlebotomy program 1 year phlebotomy experience Knowledge of venipuncture techniques Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude Good keyboarding skills with ability to learn various laboratory application and HHC computer systems Continuous improvement mindset Ability to handle different patient population including difficult patients. Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills Ability to operate required lab equipment including pneumatic tube We take great care of careers.
