With the creation of our new umbrella organization, we now have our/own/identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs, and other common practices across the system. _Position Summary:_ The Ambulatory Application Analyst works under the direction of the applicationu2019s team lead to design, build, & test clinical systems. They support workflow analysis, design and build sessions with subject matter experts (physicians, nursing, and other ancillary services personnel). They complete in-depth and precise investigation and documentation of operational specifications and application functionality to deliver expected outcomes. Attention to detail is a critical skill for this position. Successful candidates enjoy helping other users learn and adopt usage of the application. This position is part of an on-call rotation. _Position Responsibilities:_ 1. Facilitates the design, development, system configuration, implementation, and support of information systems for the organization. 1. Understands the operational issues within their application area well enough to represent their useru2019s needs. 1. Planning, development, training, implementation, and evaluation of application functionality. 1. Troubleshoot, research, and solve technically challenging problems and customer issues. 1. Provides on-call support to customers. 1. May support multi-specialty services lines and Epic Applications including Oncology/Beacon or Transplant/Phoenix. 1. Working with the team and key customers to ensure appropriate development, training, and implementation of application functionality. 1. Collaborates and consults with application director, project manager, Informatics, and other team leaders to coordinate activities. 1. Analyzes workflow and translates into application configurations to ensure consistent system design. 1. Participate actively in weekly team meetings to discuss team and project related activities, issues, change, communications, and updates. 2. Coordinates vendor support for functional and technical support of assigned areas as needed. 3. Assists in the development and documentation of internal policies and procedures that will be used in conjunction with the application. 1. Builds effective relationships and communication with clinical and business partners through all the phases of the projects to support completing project's goals 1. Contributes in the preparation and execution of testing scripts and materials and performs unit, system, and integrated testing tasks. 1. Documents and maintains all required system design and build documents and configure system accordingly. 1. Performs other tasks and duties as assigned. _Position Qualifications:_ Bacheloru2019s degree or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience in a HealthCare environment required. Four years of experience in clinical applications experience required. Experience in clinical information system management in an acute or ambulatory care setting preferred. Epic Ambulatory certification preferred. Must be willing to attend required Epic training at the Epic training center. _The Ambulatory Analyst will exhibit the following qualities:_ Proven ability to successfully work in a matrix team environment that presents significant change and tight timelines. Attire is professional, neat, clean, and appropriate for the work environment, according to the HHC and/or Department Appearance Policy, and a high standard of personal cleanliness is maintained. Reports to work on time and meets acceptable standards for attendance, based upon the department attendance policy. Communicates messages clearly and concisely. Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and sound judgment. Must be willing to learn new technologies and techniques. Must be willing and able to come to work in adverse weather conditions.
