Travel Cable Technician

Description Project Duration: February 6, 2026 u2013 April 20, 2026 Project Overview Wachter is supporting a nationwide Walmart initiative to install Public Video Monitor (PVM) infrastructure across stores throughout the United States. Each installation includes running a single network cable and a single lowu2011voltage 12/2 power wire to support the PVM system. Work is performed overnight to avoid customer disruption, with teams completing all tasks between 7 PM and 7 AM. Position Summary We are seeking skilled, detailu2011oriented Low Voltage Technicians to join our nationwide rollout team. Technicians will work in 2u2011person teams to complete structured cabling installations, operate lifts, document work, and ensure highu2011quality craftsmanship at every site. Candidates must be reliable, organized, and capable of meeting nightly project goals while overcoming onu2011site challenges. Key Responsibilities Install a single network cable and a single 12/2 lowu2011voltage power wire for PVM systems at Walmart locations nationwide. Arrive on site by 7 PM and complete all work by 7 AM. Participate in daily conference calls to report progress and receive updates. Operate a man lift safely and in accordance with site requirements. Complete Work Orders accurately and obtain required signu2011offs for all completed work. Maintain a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail on every installation. Work collaboratively within a 2u2011person team to meet nightly installation targets. Troubleshoot and overcome onu2011site challenges while maintaining project timelines. Follow all safety protocols, company standards, and client expectations. Excellent communication skills and ability to participate in daily project calls. Reliable, punctual, and able to work overnight shifts consistently. Ability to travel nationwide for the duration of the project. Strong organizational skills and ability to complete documentation accurately. Teamu2011oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively. Additional Information All required tools and equipment will be outlined in the project tool list. Training will be provided during orientation, with additional field support from the Project Manager and QC team. This is a fastu2011paced, deadlineu2011driven project requiring adaptability and professionalism.
