JOB DESCRIPTION Job SummaryProvides senior level support for health plan communications and marketing activities. Responsible for developing internal and external brand aligned communications and marketing campaigns, including marketing and communications materials for member and employee audiences, and ensuring all state/federal regulatory, accreditation, and internal requirements are met for health plan communications and materials. Essential Job Duties u2022 Writes and develops content to support the creation of internal and external communication and marketing materials. u2022 Edits, proofs and reviews all communications to meet the Molina brand, tone, voice and style requirements. u2022 Determines the production, ordering and distribution of communications, including print and promotional orders, external mailings, e-newsletters and the publishing of web content - ensuring on-time production and distribution/delivery of materials. u2022 Serves as a liaison between internal departments and external communications/marketing vendors. u2022 Serves as a communication resource to department leaders; proactively and routinely meets with departments to determine communication and content needs. u2022 Ensures regulatory/accreditation compliance of communications/marketing materials in alignment with state and federal requirements. u2022 Identifies and addresses departmental process improvements and gaps. u2022 Creates and updates policies and procedures, workflows, job aides and communication department training materials. u2022 Provides support for special health plan communications/marketing initiatives. u2022 Provides training and support to new and existing health plan communications team members. Required Qualifications u2022 At least 3 years of marketing and/or communications experience, including writing/editing experience, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. u2022 Effective writing, editing, proofreading, and content development skills. u2022 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Project management skills. u2022 Ability to work cross-collaboratively within a highly matrixed organization. u2022 Design skills for PowerPoint, Poppulo, and ability to present information in easy-to-consume formats. u2022 Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. u2022 Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs proficiency. Preferred Qualifications u2022 Experience in Associated Press (AP) Style. u2022 Experience with SharePoint or similar intranet program. u2022 Experience with Adobe InDesign, and/or other communications design software.
