The Supervisor role is crucial in supporting the mission and vision ofClevelandClinic. By leading and managing a team effectively, a supervisor ensures that the organization's standards for patient care,safetyand operational efficiency are met. This role directly contributes to creating a positive and productive work environment, which aligns with the organization's commitment to excellence in healthcare.A caregiver in this positionworks Monday-Fridayfrom 7:00AM - 3:30PM, including every other weekend and 2 holidays per year.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Supervise the technical and administrative functions of the Environmental Services department.Act as a technical resource for team members.Implement goals consistent with assigned clinical and non-clinical units.Provide effectiveutilizationof personnel,policiesand proceduresin order toensure a clean,safeand attractive environment.Supervise caregivers in daily operations and evaluate performance.Continuously inspect assigned areas to ensure highquality ofcleaning and maintenance is being performed.Maintain staffing levels.Approve and schedule paid time off and leave requests.Ensure cross coverage.Coordinate and provide orientation,educationand training.Improve procedures and processes.Analyzeworkflowand procedures.Identifyand implement opportunities to improve speed,qualityand effectiveness.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:High School Diploma or GEDTwo years of experience as a work leader, teamleador project manager OR one year of supervisory experience in a related field OR aBachelor’s DegreeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Previousenvironmental services or housekeeping experienceThree years of experience managing direct reportsExperience working with computer programs (e.g., Excel,Wordand Workday)Physical Requirements: Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periodsAbility to operate a computer and other office equipment.Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.Ability to perform duties while walking, standing, stooping and lifting.Personal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeMinimum Annual Salary: $43,200.00Maximum Annual Salary: $65,880.00The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
