Specific inoffice days may be designated based on team needs and business priorities.Current Need:The Sr. DataProduct Managerrole supports thehands-onexecution of McKesson's enterprise innovation strategy by managing the day-to-day operations of innovation projects and programs. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Innovation, this roleis responsible forcoordinating cross-functional teams, tracking project milestones, and ensuringtimelydelivery of pilots, proof of concepts, andminimumviableproducts-specifically healthcare data products.This roleplays a critical partin operationalizing innovation efforts while alsoservingas a critical bridge between product intent and technical execution, ensuring data requirements, data flows, and MVP designs are well-defined andvalidatedprior to build.The position requires strong organizational skills, stakeholder engagement, and a working knowledge of innovation frameworks and digital tools.Key Responsibilities:InnovationProduct Building &ManagementAI-firsttactical execution of0-to-1 digital productsinitiatives from concept through pilot and MVP delivery.Develop andmaintaindetailedgood data practices and documentation in compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, etc. data requirements.Track progress against milestones and proactively identifyand communicaterisks or delays.Ensure documentation and reporting of project outcomes and learnings.SQLexpertise- Strong ability to write complex queries, investigate data quality issues, and understand query performance.Data modeling - Deep understanding of dimensional modeling, normalization techniques, and schema design for analytics.Data warehouse knowledge - Working experience with modern data platforms (specificallyDatabricks).Exposure to data quality monitoring, schema evolution, or data testing frameworksConduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities thatcould be turned into valuable, monetized products.Partner with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define data requirements that support product development.Define and documentend to enddata flows for MVPs, including data sources, transformations,anddependencies.Collaborate with product managers to define, run, and analyze experiments withinDatabricksensuring methodological rigor and actionable results.Effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical teams, translating complex data into understandable and actionable stories.Cross-Functional CoordinationFacilitate collaboration across product, strategy, operations, analytics, andengineeringteams.Schedule and lead working sessions, stand-ups, and stakeholder updates.Serve as thecentral pointof contact for assigned innovation projects.Ensure alignment between business needs and technical feasibility.Help build businesscasesjustifying investments in an
