JOB REQUIREMENTS: Security Technician ID 2026-6007 Location : CityMadison Category Facilities FTE 1 Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pmwith rotating on-call responsibilities Salary Grade 7 Min USD$22.88/Hr. Mid USD $28.03/Hr. Overview The Security Technician playsan essential role in maintaining security and safety for everyone at UWCredit Union. This individual is the first - line position responsiblefor maintaining security and banking equipment at all UWCU locations.They respond and remediate issues with UWCU alarm, access control, andvideo surveillance systems as well as banking and life safety equipment.They work in a team environment and provide support to the FacilityTechnicians to respond to any maintenance issues that arise. Perform repairs,troubleshooting, and adjustments of lock sets, door hardware, electronicstrikes, and automatic door openers. Update the internal key controlsystem and make changes as needed. Make changes to the access controland alarm system as necessary. Print new/replacement employee ID stall new security devices as necessary. Perform annual alarm testingat each UWCU location and train employees to conduct alarm testing atUWCU locations. Train end users in operation of equipment. Advise onsecurity equipment inventory to ensure adequate supplies are availableas needed. Maintain basic knowledge of all security equipment andtechnology to determine nature and source of problem, analyzing,troubleshooting and solving issues.
