FTE: 0.001000 Standard Hours: 0.01 Shift: Shift 1 Shift Details:8:00 am - 4:30 pm Holidays: no Weekends: no Job Summary: Works under thedirection of an audiologist performing clinical and administrative tasksrelated to hearing aids and basic assessment of the aid. Afterappropriate training and demonstration of competency, performsdesignated duties that are directly supervised by an audiologist. Therole is to support the audiologist in performing routine tasks andduties. This person conducts pure tone audiometry, electronystagmography(ENG) and videostagmography (VNG) evaluations; fits and dispenseshearing assistive technology devices including hearing aids. Cleansequipment and performs daily biologic calibration and maintain suppliesfor the clinic and lab. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Experience with HearingAids or other audiology devices is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:High School diploma or equivalent is required. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:Hearing instrument specialist license required or must have applied andobtain within 90 days of hire.
