The Role As a Housekeeper at our Solea Alamo Ranch,u00a0 you will ensure an amazing community member experience and support in the daily operations at one of ouru00a0Active Adult 55+ communities.u00a0 Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this is an exciting opportunity to help us achieve our mission of building community, What Youu2019ll Dou2026 Daily Operations + Maintain the integrity of all physical structures, meet safety standards, and ensure a well-maintained living environment for community members, visitors, and team members + Ensure the community meets the Companyu2019s standards for show quality by daily inspecting communityu00a0 + Anticipate, identify and resolve housekeepingu00a0issues in a timely manner + Develop strong personal relationships with our community membersu00a0and achieve high community member satisfaction and promote retention + Cleaning duties may include, but are not limited to: sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and polishing floors; vacuuming carpets, rugs, draperies; dusting/polishing fixtures and fittings; cleaning metal fixtures and fittings; dispose of trash in a sanitary manner; washing windows; breaking down boxes; watering plans + Assist in the make-ready process; clean, inspect and ensure all vacant apartment homes and targeted show units are freshened throughout the day to maintain market-ready appeal + Monitor and maintain a clean work area, inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment + Practice proper safety techniques in accordance with Company, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issuesu00a0 + Provide hospitable and high-quality service to ensure a memorable experience for allu00a0 Qualifications + Has a professional or previous experience working in a similar roleu00a0and a valid driveru2019s license + Experience in housekeepingu00a0preferably in lease ups, multifamily housing, Active Adult, or hospitality environment desired + Must possess strong attention to detail + Effective communication skills + Passionate about making a difference in otheru2019s lives + Devoted sense of accountability and is solution-oriented + Must have reliable transportation; flexibility to work a regular Mon - Friu00a0schedule and nights, weekends, and/or holidays when required + Must be able to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities; must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty (20) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance Some of the Reasons Youu2019ll Love Working with Us u00a0 + Best Place to Work Award Recipient + Competitive bonus opportunities + Generous paid time off + Purpose-driven culture; rewarding work + Comprehensive health, dental, vision benefits + 401k retirement plan with robust employer match + Milestone anniversary rewards including travel, spa retreats, home down payments, student loan payoffs, sabbaticals, and more About Sparrow Founded in 2017, Sparrow is at the forefront of one of the fastest growing housing segments in the nation focused on Active Adult 55+ communities.
