What Youu2019ll Do + Provide direct, specialized care to patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Invasive Vascular Lab + Operate and maintain advanced cardiac catheterization equipment + Assist vascular surgeons and cardiologists during procedures by scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating + Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care + Contribute to a holistic approach that improves patient outcomes and enhances satisfaction for patients and families Why do you want to join the UPH team? Responsibilities u2022 Provides direct patient care. u2022 Performs various duties related to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including scrubbing, monitoring and circulation duties. u2022 Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule. u2022 Takes emergency call as scheduled. u2022 Communicates effectively with other team members including physicians, nurses, cardiovascular technicians, clinical partners, and unit secretaries. Also communicates effectively with patients and families. u2022 Demonstrates self development by keeping abreast of various trends in invasive vascular and cardiology and is proficient with new techniques. Qualifications EDUCATION: u2022 Graduate of an approved Radiology Technologist program. EXPERIENCE: u2022 One year of Radiology u201cspecial proceduresu201d or cardiac cath experience. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: u2022 Current Iowa License to practice. u2022 ACLS
