Description u2728u2728u2728 Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth Rite of Passage Team is hiring for Maintenance Worker at Tampa Bay Girls Academy in Tampa, Florida u2728u2728u2728 Tampa Bay Girls Academy - Secure is comprised of multiple co-located residential commitment programs serving high-risk and max-risk females youth aged 12-21. These programs provide services utilizing evidence-based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling. Pay: Starting at $19 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Perks & Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and company paid Life Insurance within 90 days, and 401k match of up to 6% after 1 year of employment, Paid Time Off that can be used as soon as it accrues and more ROP-benefits-and-perks-2 ( What you will do: The primary responsibilities of a Maintenance Worker include but are not limited to: general building maintenance, minor electrical repairs, repairing drywall, painting, paneling, wallpapering, sheetrock work, hanging doors, adjusting/changing locks and door hardware, fixing or replacing broken windows and screens, hanging pictures, minor plumbing repairs, unplugging drains, replacing leaky washers, re-lighting, replacing and adjusting heaters and controls, maintaining smoke detectors and emergency lights, maintaining swamp coolers/air conditioners and generators, replacing floor tiles, carpeting, wood flooring and/or linoleum repairs, repairing roofing, some grounds maintenance & irrigation repairs if needed, etc. To be considered you should: Possess a High School Diploma or GED ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
