AEP Architect

Cognizant is looking for an Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) - The Data Engineer designs builds and maintains scalable data pipelines and architectures specializing in ingesting transforming and modeling customer data using XDM schemas RT-CDP and SQL. They collaborate with marketing and technical teams to enable real-time personalization identity resolution and data governance. Role: AEP Architect Location: Remote. Candidate must be in the U.S Experience: 10+ Years _Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future_ Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $130,000/Year to $162,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans. Roles and Responsibilities: u2022 Own the overall AEP and AJO solution architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and operational readiness. u2022 Lead architectural decisionu2011making across data, identity, journeys, integrations, and governance. u2022 Translate business objectives into platformu2011native architectural patterns aligned to Adobe Experience League guidance. u2022 Provide architectural oversight across multiple workstreams and delivery teams. u2022 Architect XDM schema models, datasets, and profile enablement strategies. u2022 Design identity namespace strategies, merge policies, and profile stitching approaches. u2022 Lead Realu2011Time CDP implementations including segmentation strategies using PQL. u2022 Define sandbox strategies and environment separation (dev / QA / stage / prod). u2022 Architect eventu2011triggered and segmentu2011qualified journeys, including reu2011entry rules, throttling, and versioning u2022 Design crossu2011channel orchestration across email, push, SMS, inu2011app, and web. u2022 Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and enterprise privacy frameworks. u2022 Architect integrations with upstream and downstream systems using AEP, RTCDP, and AJO APIs. u2022 Provide architectural guidance during Agile delivery, including sprint planning and design reviews. u2022 Support deployment and promotion strategies from lower environments to production. u2022 Define operational monitoring and troubleshooting standards using journey logs, message feedback events, and platform diagnostics. u2022 Act as escalation point for complex technical or architectural issues. Qualifications: u2022 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, marketing technology, or data platforms. u2022 Deep, handsu2011on expertise with Adobe Experience Platform. u2022 Strong experience designing and delivering solutions with Adobe Journey Optimizer. u2022 Advanced knowledge of XDM modeling, identity resolution, and data governance. u2022 Strong proficiency in SQL for data modeling and transformation. u2022 Experience with REST APIs, eventu2011driven architectures, and system integrations. u2022 Solid understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and customer journey concepts. u2022 Experience leading architecture in regulated or privacyu2011sensitive environments. u2022 Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and executive stakeholders.Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
