Senior Middleware Integration Engineer (IBM ACE) + Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) + Pay Range: $70.00 u2013 $80.00 / hour ( Strict W2 Only ) + Project Duration: April 30, 2026 u2013 February 27, 2027 + Status: No C2C / No Third Parties / No 1099 Project Overview: Profile Deposits System Transition Our client is undertaking a critical system transition involving Profile Deposits , where data from the existing Profile platform will be migrated and integrated into a new enterprise system over the coming months. This environment includes a large number of upstream and downstream interfaces that currently transmit data into the Profile system. We are seeking 3u20134 Senior Middleware Consultants to lead this initiative. The engagement will focus on complex data transformation and contextual conversion (not simple file movement) to support this large-scale migration effort. Key Responsibilities + Middleware Development: Design and develop high-performance integrations using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) . + Contextual Data Transformation: Execute complex data transformations to support the migration from the legacy Profile platform to the new system. + API-Led Connectivity: Transition legacy file-based transfers into modern, API-based integrations . + Streaming & Messaging: Integrate and process high-volume datasets using Kafka for real-time asynchronous data flows. + Database Engineering: Write and optimize PL/SQL queries to retrieve, transform, and validate data integrity during the conversion. + Containerized Orchestration: Support deployments and maintain middleware nodes within an OpenShift environment. + Automation: Develop and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for operational support and automation. Required Skills & Experience + IBM ACE Mastery: 5+ years of hands-on experience with App Connect Enterprise (ACE) . + Modern Infrastructure: Proven experience working within OpenShift (containerized) environments. + Data Streaming: Solid hands-on experience with Kafka integration. + Database Expertise: Advanced SQL / PL-SQL development skills (data retrieval, transformation, validation). + API Development: Strong background building and consuming RESTful APIs . + Scripting: Proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting . + Conversion Logic: Direct experience with complex middleware conversions involving contextual data transformation .
