What youwill accomplish as a Warehouse Worker: Operate pallet jack and othernon-power equipment Compares identifying information and counts weighs,or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verifyinformation against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other recordsUses computer to look up, and verify data related to incoming andoutgoing orders Retrieves products from warehouse locations andassembles customer orders Assembles wooden or cardboard containers, orselects preassembled containers and inserts items into containers, usingspacers, fillers, and protective padding Affixes shipping label onpackages or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons, usingstenciling equipment Attaches identifying information and shippinginstructions onto crates or containers Unpacks and examines incomingshipments, follows established procedures to reject damaged items,records shortages, and corresponds with shipper and supervisor torectify damages and shortages Stocks items into proper locationsExamines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specificationsFollows all safety rules and 5S / Lean Manufacturing...
