Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial records, overseeing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in accounts. This position requires expertise in bookkeeping practices and familiarity with tools like QuickBooks and Excel. Responsibilities: u2022 Maintain and update accurate financial records and ledgers in compliance with company standards. u2022 Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. u2022 Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data. u2022 Process payroll using ADP and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks and financial reporting. u2022 Prepare financial statements and reports as needed. u2022 Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. u2022 Collaborate with team members to optimize financial operations and workflows. u2022 Assist in budgeting and forecasting efforts to support business goals. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping or a related role. u2022 Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. u2022 Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. u2022 Experience with bank reconciliations and payroll systems, including ADP. u2022 Ability to prepare accurate financial statements and reports. u2022 Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills. u2022 Strong organizational and communication abilities. u2022 Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices.
