Summary: The NPI Operations Program Manager (OPM) role at Reality Labs offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of cutting-edge consumer electronics product development and mass production. The Operations teamu2019s mission is to develop the manufacturing and operational platforms to bring these new technologies to scale.This role is highly impactful, bridging core product teams with a broad spectrum of functional organizations, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Legal, and Finance, as well as external suppliers. The OPM is a key driver in ensuring seamless execution of complex, high-priority initiatives that directly influence the success of innovative products in an evolving environment. Required Skills: NPI Product Operations Manager - US - IC6 Responsibilities: 1. Manage cross-functional execution of NPI and mass production initiatives for cutting-edge consumer electronics devices by integrating plans and communicating risk & status clearly and succinctly to management, calling out key issues and presenting options for resolution to Leadership 2. Establish and lead on-site bring-up and integration activities, coordinating with both internal and external resources 3. Provides links from the US based Operations & Engineering Teams to the Factory Operations teams from various development builds through the new product introduction process 4. Actively participate in HW Engineering design discussions and steer solutions to align with market fit/expectations while hitting high-impact cost targets 5. Use your technical experience to drive engineering and the supply chain team to meet program cost targets at a product and commodity level for your project 6. Challenge HW teams at a technical level to enable cost down efforts from a technology standpoint 7. Ensure the successful launch products towards meeting its stated cost, quality, schedule, and availability goals 8. Lead ramp availability with GSM, Quality, Engineering and other internal and external teams 9. Drive Operations team to ensure security, materials, equipment, fixtures, staffing, training and documentation plans are in place at our partners 10. Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering Program Managers to define Key Performance Indicators and Product Requirement Documents to enable successful architecture and design locks and according to PDP timeline 11. Drive Operations team for factory readiness with manufacturing partners to support NPI builds and MP (line layout, automation, capacity, capex, etc.) 12. Liaise across multiple cross-functional teams to ensure product cost, manufacturability, reliability, product quality, safety and compliance, and go-to-market strategies are met 13. Work closely with Contract Manufacturing Team to ensure partner selection is being optimized to support product requirements Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: 14. BS or higher in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations discipline or equivalent experience 15. 5+ years' experience in an Operations-focused Program Management role for manufacturing and/or development of Electronics Devices or equivalent work experience 16. Proven problem solving and analytical skills 17. Knowledge of product features/specifications, manufacturing processes and the supply chain for consumer electronics products 18. Experience working with and managing external suppliers and manufacturers 19. Project management experience, including cross-functional stakeholder management 20. Communication skills 21. Experience navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple and competing work threads to maximizing impact Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: 22. Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, or Manufacturing fields 23. 10+ years of experience in leading development/delivery of high-volume consumer electronics products, 24.
