Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.As a systems engineer on our team, you'll have the chance to assess and evaluate combat weapon systems using computer-based analytical tools, including the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, or Modeling (AFSIM) analytical framework, THUNDER campaign tool, MATLAB, and in-house post-processing tools. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize combat weapon systems. You'll directly impact the Department of Defense'smission by identifying how factors such as force package design, order of battle, basing, and multi-domain operations affect the outcomes of long duration, theater-level campaigns.These analyses ultimately allow DoD leadership to make more informed decisions regarding the acquisition of future combat systems. You'll develop your skills in critical thinking, data analytics, and operations analysis while gaining experience in constructive modeling and simulation of combat operations.
