What You Can Expect The Medical Device Sales Trainer is responsible for the development, delivery and reinforcement of sales training programs that support commercial excellence across the sales organization. This role trains sales representatives of all experience levels, supports the onboarding and ramp-up of new direct hires, and provides hands-on, in-field coaching to reinforce selling skills, product knowledge and clinical confidence. The Sales Trainer serves as a key partner to sales leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent execution of sales strategy, messaging, product launches and best practices. This individual will spend significant time in the field conducting one-on-one training, observing customer interactions and providing real-time coaching to accelerate performance. This role reports to Sales Leadership and/or Commercial Training Leadership. How You'll Create Impact + Develop, implement, and deliver comprehensive sales training programs for representatives at all levels of experience, including new hires, early-career reps, and tenured sales professionals. + Train on product knowledge, clinical applications, sales process, competitive positioning, and selling skills. + Adapt training content and delivery methods to meet individual learning styles, experience levels, and performance needs. + Support the onboarding and ramp-up process for new direct sales representatives in partnership with sales leadership. + Deliver structured onboarding curriculum to accelerate time to productivity and ensure consistency in messaging, process, and compliance. + Serve as a resource and mentor to new hires throughout their onboarding period, reinforcing expectations and best practices. + Spend significant time in the field conducting one-on-one training and coaching with sales representatives. + Observe sales calls, procedures, and customer interactions to provide actionable feedback and real-time coaching. + Reinforce training concepts through practical application in live customer environments. + Collaborate with sales leadership, marketing, clinical, and other cross-functional partners to align training initiatives with business priorities. + Support regional and national sales meetings through training sessions, workshops, and presentations + Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, field observations, and performance metrics; continuously improve training content and tools. What Makes You Stand Out + Strong coaching and facilitation skills with the ability to influence sales professionals at all experience levels. + Demonstrated understanding of medical device sales environments and field-based selling. + Ability to deliver engaging training in both classroom and field settings. + Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. + Ability to provide constructive feedback and drive performance improvement. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. + Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally. Your Background + Bacheloru2019s degree or equivalent experience required. + 5u20138 years of experience in medical device sales, sales training, sales leadership, or a related commercial role. + Demonstrated experience training and coaching sales representatives preferred. + Experience supporting onboarding programs for new sales hires strongly preferred.
