This job was posted by : For more information,please see: East Boise/Barber Valleywork location$17.50 p/h to start- first seasonExcellent opportunity working with County ParksDuties:Perform general grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming,weeding, raking, pruning, and other landscaping tasks.Conduct basic maintenance and janitorial duties for public facilitiesand grounds, including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, window andrestroom cleaning.Use a variety of hand and power tools and spect equipment for damage after use and maintain inventory records.Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.Follow all workplace and job-specific safety guidelines, including theuse of personal protective equipment.Perform other assigned tasks related to Parks and Waterways functions asneededRequirements:Valid Drivers LicenseBe Drug-FreeKnowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in facility maintenanceand repair.Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices.Understanding of workplace safety procedures.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.Strong customer service and professional interpersonal skills.Ability to maintain effective working relationships and interact withdiscretion and tact.Ability to operate equipment and motor vehicles (including light trucks)safely.Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and maintain sufficient personalmobility and physical reflexes.Flexibility to work a non-standard schedule, including weekends andholidays.Able to work varying schedules between 7 am- 10 pm during peak season
