Summary The Performance Improvement SAIL Nurse (RN) Functions as a clinical expert and executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex patient care. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of care based on age specific components. Demonstrates performance and leadership that is broad enough to improve the care for a group of patients. Responsibilities The Performance Improvement SAIL Nurse (RN) demonstrates sound decision- making and judgment with excellent interpersonal skills. They are self-directed and influence care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team and leading innovative process improvement initiatives. Executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex client care. The Performance Improvement SAIL Nurse (RN) works with senior leadership as a change agent in assuring, directing, and performing the steps necessary to create business cases based on objective data within the frame of Systems Redesign and Lean Six Sigma. They work collaboratively with the health care system managers and clinical leaders to establish and ensure strategic goals related to Systems Redesign initiatives are met or exceeded.
