+ Area of Interest: Management + FTE/Hours per pay period: 1.0 + Department: Chronic Mental Illness Recovry + Shift: Monday- Friday, days + Job ID: 177553 Overview The Supervisor Community Based Services will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Peer Services for the respective service area and ensuring seamless team management and development, program delivery, and quality improvement and evaluation. Responsibilities Leadership Responsibilities u00b7 Cultivate existing relationships with community agencies with the goal of ensuring resources, and access to mental health services. u00b7 Participate in the development and implementation of best clinical practices and identify best practices associated with providing CMI services. u00b7 Participate program development of current and future programs to ensure quality services to clients served. u00b7 Participate in the development and implementation of orientation programs for staff and provide ongoing mentoring of staff. u00b7 Community leadership and community collaboration general community agencies at local and state levels. u00b7 Provide direct supervision and evaluation to site leaders and direct service staff. Organizational Relationships u00b7 Report to Director of Habilitation Services. u00b7 Responsible for supervision of program coordinators and direct service staff of Habilitation Service in the service area. u00b7 Liaison between Abbe Center for Community Mental Health and external contacts such as referring agencies, hospitals, service funders, licensing/accreditation entities. u00b7 Performance evaluated by Director of Habilitation Services Team Management and Development u00b7 Participate in the development and implementation of training programs for the professional development needs of all staff. u00b7 Work with staff to develop objective performance measurements across all sites, to ensure consistent, high-quality evaluation and goal setting for all employees. u00b7 Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and evaluation of habilitation services staff. u00b7 Participates in the development of quality improvement measures for habilitation services. u00b7 Participates on internal quality improvement and Medicaid Integrity program committees to ensure implementation of and oversight of policies and procedures related to corporate compliance and Medicaid integrity compliance. u00b7 Provides oversight, direction and technical assistance regarding program policies, procedures, standards, rules, regulations and plans to ensure quality services to the clients served. u00b7 Coordinates compliance training and oversees Quality Assurance activities as assigned by the Director of Community Based Services . u00b7 Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate program delivery improvement. u00b7 Develop, implement, monitor and revise policies and procedures related to community based programs as required by governing bodies. u00b7 Provide initial and ongoing training on new policies to all staff. u00b7 Coordinates with the Director and direct service staff to ensure stakeholders involvement in program policy development. u00b7 Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Identify items that are minimally required to perform the essential functions of this position. Preferred or Specialized Not required to perform the essential functions of the position. Education: Holds a minimum of a 2-year degree in a Humans Services related field. Bacheloru2019s Degree preferred Experience: At least five years of experience in Human Services related field. Two of the five years of experince in a team management supervisory role preferred. License(s)/Certification(s): Valid driveru2019s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Broad knowledge of licensure, accreditation, governing body standards for community based programs. Strong leadership skills and experience in facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration. Strong organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details. Other: Demonstrated success developing and evaluating program models, and selecting and successfully operationalizing innovative programs. Proficient in using technology as a management reporting tool and experience working with information technology staff to develop and implement program evaluation systems. Strong project management skills managing complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth. Strong understanding of human resources, employee performance improvement plans, and corrective action policies.
