Youu2019llgrow your expertise and analytical skillsthrough collaboration with a global, cross-functional team, ownership of a well-defined project, and exposure to new technology and tools used to improve vehicles and customer experience. What you'll do... Develop 3D geometry and innovative designs concepts that solve challenging crash load cases while balancing construction, material, and manufacturing methods. Perform and understand tolerance analysis, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and other simulations and analyses before releasing designs for production. Develop, study, and implement novel construction techniques and materials then drive them to production feasibility Hands-on prototyping, testing & troubleshooting Youu2019ll have... Pursuit of a relevant Bacheloru2019s degree or Masteru2019s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or a related field A GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) Analytical and creative problem-solving skills Must be able to work from the Long Beach, CA campus. Must be able to dedicate 6 months for this engagement Candidates must graduate and be available for full-time work prior to September 2026 Experience using 3D CAD software collaboratively Even better, you may have...
