What you'll dou2026 u2022 Build and lead the Chassis Integration Team: software integration engineers, calibration engineers, and test specialists. u2022 Own the integration and validation of all chassis-related ECUs (brakes, steering, EPB, TPMS, trailer brakes, stability control). u2022 Define chassis software integration strategy, including regression loops, pre-merge/post-merge test plans, and release sign-off. u2022 Manage prototype vehicle usage for chassis testing, working closely with vehicle-level integration and fleet operations teams. u2022 Drive debug and root cause investigations for chassis-related software/hardware issues. u2022 Collaborate with suppliers to manage ECU software releases, diagnostics, and interface definitions. u2022 Partner with domain calibration teams to ensure vehicle attributes (brake feel, steering response, stability performance) are achieved. u2022 Ensure compliance with functional safety (ISO 26262) and validation standards (ASPICE, FMVSS, etc.). u2022 Develop and report on chassis software maturity metrics to leadership. u2022 Mentor and coach engineers, fostering growth and cross-functional collaboration. u2022 Support proving ground, winter test, and internal vehicle demo campaigns. You'll haveu2026 u2022 Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or related field. u2022 8u201312 years of experience in chassis software integration, controls, or systems engineering, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role. u2022 Strong technical understanding of chassis control systems (brakes, steering, EPB, TPMS, stability control). u2022 Experience with prototype vehicle bring-up, software flashing, and diagnostics. u2022 Proficiency with automotive tools and protocols (CAN, UDS, DoIP, Vector CANoe/CANalyzer/CANape). u2022 Familiar with calibration processes and vehicle-level attributes tuning for chassis systems. u2022 Working knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE, and FMVSS requirements. u2022 Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and people leadership skills. u2022 Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, prototype-heavy environment. u2022 Willingness to travel to proving grounds and supplier sites.
