Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process._ How youu2019ll make an impact in this role + Assess and stabilize emergency situations by quickly determining clinical needs and implementing a decisive plan of action. + Deliver life-saving interventions using specialized medical equipment to manage injuries and improve patient stability during critical transport or on-scene treatment. + Champion patient safety by monitoring vitals and documenting clinical data to ensure the nursing team has a seamless, high-quality handoff for continued care. + Facilitate healing transitions by assisting with patient mobilization and transport, ensuring every individual moves through the care continuum safely and with dignity. What minimum requirements youu2019ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: + BLS Provider obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: + Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians(NREMT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. + Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security obtained priorto hire date or job transfer date. One or more of the following preferred: + Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. + Drivers License credentialed from the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles. With acceptable drivingrecord + Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: + High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
