Description: What We're Doing Become a part of something IMPACT-ful Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nationu2019s defense against ballistic missile attacks. The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat. Learn more about Lockheed Martin's comprehensive benefits package here ( #rmshotmiljobs Basic Qualifications: u2022 Associate or Bachelor degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline u2022 Experience with Systems Administration for Windows or Linux Operating Systems such as Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) u2022 Must have a DOD 8140 IAT Level II certification or higher (ex: Security + CE) u2022 Experience with various windows and Red Hat scripting using tools such as Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, etc. u2022 Knowledge of IAVMu2019s and addressing software vulnerabilities u2022 Active/Current Secret clearance required Desired Skills: u2022 Active Linux Certifications (Linux+, RHCSA, RHCE) u2022 Active Windows Certifications (MCSA, MCSE, etc.) u2022 Experience with DevOps architecture such as Kubernetes, Nexus, Docker, GitLab, etc. u2022 Experience with security compliance and related security scanning products (ACAS) u2022 Experience in enterprise backup and restore solutions, storage area network (SAN), and network attached storage (NAS) u2022 Experience with network administration and related infrastructure u2022 Experience with hardware installation and maintenance to include firmware upgrades u2022 Experience with both Windows and Linux scripting languages u2022 Experience with Windows Patching/WSUS application Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
