Description: You will be the Industrial Engineer Sr. for the Missiles and Fire Control team. Our team is responsible for analyzing and improving manufacturing processes, implementing lean practices, and ensuring optimal efficiency in our operations. What You Will Be Doing As the Industrial Engineer Sr. you will be responsible for leading crossu2011functional initiatives that drive productivity, quality, and waste reduction across our manufacturing footprint. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Lead crossu2011functional teams to identify and implement process improvements. - Drive improvements in productivity and quality. - Develop layout designs for equipment and workspaces to enhance productivity and reduce waste. - Conduct time studies and data analysis to uncover bottlenecks. - Collaborate with supply chain to optimize material flow. Further Information About This Opportunity This position is in Ocala, FL. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN -This position is located at a facility that requiresspecial access. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial engineering role within a manufacturing environment. u2022 Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance. u2022 Extensive experience in developing large layout designs for equipment and workspaces to enhance productivity and reduce waste. u2022 Proven track record in work measurement and time standards. u2022 Proficiency with various work measurement techniques such as predetermined motion time systems (PMTS), work sampling, and direct time study. u2022 Extensive experience in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma methodologies. u2022 Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics and statistical analysis. u2022 Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software Desired Skills: u2022 Proficient in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for designing and analyzing manufacturing systems. u2022 Proficiency in using simulation software (e.g., Arena, Simul8, FlexSim, SIMIO) to model, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes. u2022 Extensive experience in large scale facility space planning activities. u2022 Excellent communication skills. u2022 Ability to drive strategic decision-making through clear reporting, dashboards, and executive presentations. u2022 Extensive experience in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
