JOB REQUIREMENTS: Water TreatmentTechnical Service Rep. is responsiblefor providing technical/troubleshooting assistance, generalproductinformation, warranty assistance, and limited parts order processing onproduct that requires extensiveproduct knowledge. Their primarycustomers are wholesalers (Plumbing and Pump and Well), plumbers,welldriller/pump installers, water treatment professionals, generalcontractors, service professionals, facilitymaintenance personnel,architects, engineers and other professionals responsible for ensuringequipment isspecified and serviced properly. Water Treatment TechnicalService Rep. also works to assist callers to repairexisting equipment orreplace equipment when needed. Responsibilities Often serves as the maincontact to our company for water treatment questions andequipmentinformation. Receives calls about treatment equipment andtechniques. Providing water analysis interpretation and productrecommendation. Trouble shoot equipment problems in the field and directproper repair procedures recommendingparts. Assist with sizing watertreatment based on facility size and water usage. Assisting withinstallationprocedures. Referring homeowners and potential customers todealers and distributors for water treatment salesand service. Quotespecific commercial/industrial water treatment equipment utilizingengineered drawings andspecs provided by customers. Perform audits andmodifications when needed on bill of materials for equipment builds.Perform quality control functions and programming inspections on allcommercial and industrialequipment before it leaves Water-Right. Workinternally on product improvement and advancement of new and existingproducts. Test and vet out issues that are identified either internallyor through feedback of dealers and distributors. Provide technical datato internal Marketing Department for literature, and spec sheets onequipment. Provide specifications of equipment to caller inquiries.Check availability of parts for dealers and distributors to assist inorder entry. Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.Qualifications Assoicate Degree in related field preferred 3+ years ofrelated work experience or training (mechanical aptitude in lieu ofwater treatment) Experience in installation, sizing, repair,troubleshooting. (Mechanical products) Water chemistry knowledge orbackground a plus, not required. Pump and well knowledge a plus,notrequired.
