Maintenance I (Acme)

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview Green Bay Dressed Beef LLC (Acme Street) anAmerican Foods Group Company has opportunities for Maintenance I at ourAcme plant. As Maintenance I, you will: Identify and locateparts/part numbers from machinery or equipment manuals or parts catalogs(e.g. Cryovac, overhead chains, rail switches, conveyors, saws, etc.). Perform basic welding (e.g. primarily tig; some mig and stick).Ability to identify good and bad welds. Perform routine preventivemaintenance (e.g. grease bearings, lubricate, check fluid levels,replace filters, etc.) to ensure that machines run smoothly, buildingsystems operate efficiently or the physical condition of buildings doesnot deteriorate. Assemble, install or repair plumbing (e.g. threadingpipe), equipment or machinery to keep machines, mechanical equipment, orthe structure of an establishment in repair. Perform basic forkliftmaintenance (change tires, replace bushings, etc.). Perform basichydraulics (e.g. change motors, make hoses, etc.). Complete necessarypaperwork (PM sheets, work orders, etc.) Assist in performingmaintenance on scale equipment (e.g. portable, floor, and matrix -hot/cold) in applicable area(s). NOTE: this description is notintended to be all-inclusive. An employee may perform other relatedduties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization; these duties areconsidered marginal. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications (Required): Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to work in theUnited States without sponsorship. Must be able to work in a varietyof work temperatures warm, hot, humid, cold, wet or with slipperysurfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts withthe use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Must be able toperform the job duties with or without reasonable accommodations. High school diploma or GED. Prior experience using hand and powertools, precision measuring tools and the ability to read and work fromdrawings and blueprints. Must be able to successfully completetraining: Safety. Safe Quality Food (SQF). Good ManufacturingPractices (GMPs). Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP). Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Food defense. Lockout/Tag out. Forklift. Preferred Qualifications: Prior leadexperience in a USDA inspected beef, pork or poultry facility. 6months maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Priorproduction experience.
