Job Title: GIS Technician Job Description The candidate will be responsible for data mining, working with large file structures, geometric fixes, and orthorectification. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong experience in geospatial technologies. Responsibilities + Conduct data mining and manage large file structures efficiently. + Perform geometric fixes to ensure accuracy of geospatial data. + Execute orthorectification processes to improve data quality. + Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals. Essential Skills + Proficiency in ArcGIS software. + Degree in Geography. + Experience in feature extraction and geospatial technologies. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Advanced knowledge in geospatial data management. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Work Environment The work environment is an office for the first two weeks of training in Fort Collins, CO. We are looking for local candidates to Colorado. After the training period, the role is fully remote work from home. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fort Collins, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
