Patient Billing Specialist II The AR Specialist II is responsible for managing the accounts receivable (AR) process within the revenue cycle. This role involves reviewing, processing, and following up on outstanding claims and payments to ensure timely reimbursement from insurance companies, consumers, and other third parties. The AR Specialist II works closely with various internal teams, including billing, coding, and clinical departments, to resolve discrepancies, address denials, and ensure compliance with regulations.The Accounts Receivable Specialist is accountable for daily operational tasks associated with revenue cycle accounts receivable. The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for follow-up and timely and effectively managing requests from consumers, insurance primary, secondary, and tertiary payers, and clearing hours, and prepares all appeals and resolves all upfront edits and denials.
