ASIC Verification Engineer, Amazon Leo

Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the e work at Amazon!The Role:Be part of Leo's sub-team responsible for defining and implementing Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) devices used for communication links between low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites and Amazon customer terminals. This is a unique opportunity to work on groundbreaking wireless solutions with few legacy constraints. The team works with customer requirements and wireless system teams to define modems, high-speed interfaces, embedded processors, and DSP solutions in latest CMOS generation this role you will: - Implement and maintain pre-silicon verification environments, utilizing simulation and emulation platforms.- Develop detailed verification test plans, testbenches, checks, tests and functional coverage.- Be proficient in the application of verification languages and methodologies, such as System Verilog and UVM.- Work with design and communication systems team to ensure our design verification is robust and exhaustive.- Automate regression testing, collect coverage metrics and report progress to the program.Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
