Job DescriptionAramark is hiring a Maintenance Worker to support Facilities operations across the Lakewood School District. This role is responsible for performing a wide range of general maintenance, repair, and special project work to keep school buildings safe, functional, and well maintained for students, faculty, and staff.This position is well suited for a multi-skilled maintenance professional who is comfortable handling varied tasks, moving between school sites as needed, and supporting both routine repairs and special projects.Work Location: Lakewood School DistrictEmployer: Aramark Facilities ServicesSchedule: Monday-FridayShift Availability: AM and PM availability requiredEmployment Type: Full-Time | HourlyCompensation Data Job Responsibilities Perform general building maintenance and repairs, including:Doors, windows, and locksMinor appliance repairsOffice and classroom equipmentFlooring repairs and basic surface workRepair and replace fixtures and hardware as neededAssist with special projects, renovations, and school setup needsMove furniture, equipment, and materials between school buildings as requiredInspect assigned areas and proactively address maintenance issuesComplete daily, weekly, or project-based maintenance tasks as assignedRespond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely mannerUse tools and equipment safely and efficientlyMaintain a professional, customer-focused attitude with school staff and coworkersFollow all Aramark safety policies, procedures, and district guidelinesAdheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures.At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.Qualifications Previous maintenance experience preferredAbility to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risksDemonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalMust be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekendsThis role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
