The Assistant will support the overall support to the Deal and Rights Management team and providing administrative support to the lawyers and other members of the Business & Legal Affairs Department.A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESProvide general Administrative Support to Business & Legal Affairs, including Lawyers and other team membersEvaluate, research, and answer general inquiries related to agreements and rightsRead and understand materials and documentsRecognize and extractcritical data and information from rights agreementsAccurately track and input deal and rights information into the deal management tracking systemHandle special projects for the Deal and Rights Management team, as neededSchedule and handle logistics for internal and external meetings, calls, and video conferencingMaintain and track agreements, scan and file documents and emails, as neededEffectively interact with internal departments and executives at all levelsAdditional duties and projects, as required by upper managementWHAT YOU WILL NEEDBachelor’s Degree1+ years ofexperience in an office environment as an assistant and/or support positionComfortable and interested in the use of various computer programs and systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, , Zoom, Box, iManage, Rightsline, Salesforce, etc.Great attitude with desire and ability to learn new things and demonstrate increased knowledgeStrong analyticalskills, organizational skills, and attention to detailReliable and willing to take initiative, with strong organizational and follow-through skills, detail-oriented, use of discretion while handling sensitive and confidential information, ability to multitask, and a self-starterAbility to maintain high levels of accuracyAbility to perform in a high-volume environment, exercise independent judgment, and efficiently manage timeAbility to handle highlyconfidential and sensitive information with discretionNICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKERPrior experience in Business & Legal Affairs and/or Deal and Rights ManagementPursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $21.00-25.00 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
