Job Goal Provide effective instruction and carry out assigned related responsibilities. Qualifications Must meet minimum experience and education requirements specified by Northeast Iowa Community College and meet the credentialing requirements of the Northeast Community College Quality Faculty Plan.Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Education or related field preferred AAS degree with 6000 hours of relevant work experience required. Duties and Responsibilities Part-time adjunct instructor position at the Calmar Campus.Must be qualified to teach the principles of agronomy, integrated crop management, agriculture fertilizers and chemicals, grain management, and be able to prepare students to successfully pass the commercial pesticide applicators certification test. Classes will be taught face-to-face at the NICC Calmar location and online for the district.Adjunct pay is $725 per credit hour for lectures and $1250 per credit hour for lab. Five credits are needed for the 2023 fall semester and up to ten credits are available for the 2024 spring semester. Essential Functions
