What You'll DoAs a Commissioning Controls Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality automated systems that meet customer and company standards.-Design, program, and configure PLC and HMI control systems for custom manufacturing equipment-Commission and start up automated systems both onsite and at customer facilities (up to 20% travel)-Collaborate with mechanical and electrical design teams to ensure seamless system integration-Troubleshoot and resolve machine control system issues during build, installation, and production phases-Support equipment validation, testing, and performance optimization-Proactively identify potential design improvements to minimize rework and downtime-Manage assigned project tasks to align with timelines and hour budgets-Ensure systems meet safety standards and compliance requirements-Provide technical support during installation and customer handoff We're seeking a technically sharp, solution-oriented professional who thrives in a team-focused manufacturing environment.-2-5 years of experience in the automation or manufacturing industry-Experience with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC programming-HMI programming and configuration experience-Hands-on troubleshooting experience with machine control systems-Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation-Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally-Self-starter mindset with strong organizational and multitasking abilities-Willingness to travel up to 20% for system installations and commissioning Preferred Qualifications-Experience commissioning custom automation or capital equipment-Familiarity with industrial networks and communication protocols-Exposure to robotics or motion control systems-Experience supporting equipment on a production floor-Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
