Software QA Lead

Job Description Our client, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Assurance IT Lead to oversee the end-to-end testing function across enterprise-scale projects and programs focused on an ongoing SAP upgrade/migration. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, know how to lead through complexity, and bring strong hands-on experience in software testing and project coordination, this may be a perfect fit.*** Please note: this is an onsite role in Grand Rapids, MI, there is NO OPTION to work remote for this position ***This is more than just a QA role it's a chance to lead Quality initiatives that directly impact large-scale digital transformation projects.You'll drive test strategy, lead test execution, and shape testing standards within both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.Responsibilities:Own the delivery of the testing phase across large IT projects and programsEnsure all testing deliverables meet established standards, quality expectations, and stakeholder requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test strategies, plans, scenarios, and casesLead test execution across multiple project teams; track and report daily progressManage the full bug lifecycle, proactively resolving issues and maintaining momentumCreate test dashboards and reporting metrics to provide clear insight into progress and risksPartner with Automation Engineers to align manual testing with automation initiativesCoach teams on QA best practices, Agile/Waterfall methodologies, and CI/CD principlesContinuously improve testing frameworks, standards, and toolsAdvocate for a quality-first mindset across the IT and business landscape Job Requirements Qualifications:3-5 years of experience leading software testing efforts on enterprise-scale projects focused on SAPStrong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and lifecycle managementProven SAP-focused QA Project Leadershipin cross-team environments with ability to influence and guideExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBachelor's degree requiredExperience working within Agile/SCRUM and traditional project delivery environmentsTechnical familiarity with Azure DevOps, MS Visual Studio, ServiceNow, SAP, and Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Qualifications:Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)Familiarity with development languages (Java, C#, .NET)Prior experience testing web-based applications in enterprise environments
