EY Parthenon - Turnaround & Restructuring - Restructuring (Manager) (Multiple Positions) ( 1689314 ) , Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Los Angeles, CA Manage and supervise staff on engagement projects to enable clients to develop financial and operational strategies to improve liquidity, credit availability, and shareholder return. Contribute to the team with technical and analytical skills and knowledge of financial restructuring services. Advise distressed companies and debtors on financial turnaround planning; viability diligence, cash flow analysis, and cash forecasting; and restructuring alternatives, including review of debt services. Support distressed companies and debtors with negotiations with lenders. Prepare complex financial analyses and models. Conduct due diligence investigations of client companies. Prepare memoranda and presentations describing the key attributes of client companies and industries. Perform comparables analysis. Gather and assimilate market data into usable reports. Provide input on deal-related structuring and strategic decisions. Advise stakeholders, secured creditors, and investors on assessment of viability, cash flow review, and security review. Evaluate corporate finance strategy. Assist engagement Partners in defining the scope of work, clearing conflicts, budgeting issues, and dealing with staff resource planning. Deliver detailed financial and commercial analysis to clients including identifying key issues and potential areas of sensitivity. Identify business development activities to sell work through development of internal and external client relationship networks. Full time employment, Monday u2013 Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am u2013 5:30 pm. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Masteru2019s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field plus 3 years of related work experience. Of the required work experience, must have 3 years performing quantitative or qualitative analysis. Must have 3 years of combined experience performing financial restructuring and/or advisory work on behalf of creditors or distressed companies. Must have 2 years of experience in project management and in supervising engagement teams comprised of 1 or more team members. Must have 1 year of experience applying business accounting concepts, including profit and loss and Excel modeling. Must have 3 years of financial modeling and valuations experience.
